Keep Going Up

Keep Going Up is a project that combines collage, digital imagery and graphic design within a self-published artist book. Drawing inspiration from the Himalayan mountains each page features bold brightly coloured compositions paired with encouraging statements that function as both motivation and self-reflection. The mountains serve as a symbol of endurance, ambition and personal growth representing the challenges and aspirations that shape an individual's journey. Through the process of creating the book I was also speaking to myself, using the work as a reminder to maintain momentum resilience and positive energy while moving towards personal goals. Alongside the printed publication pages were transformed into glitched animations introducing movement and disruption to the static images. These animated adaptations reflect the emotional highs, uncertainties and obstacles that often accompany the pursuit of growth emphasising that progress is rarely a smooth or linear experience.
